Mark Eberhard“I received my first bird book from my grandparents at age five. Birds have been of interest to me ever since. Though birds appear in most of my work, their presence is only a small element of the overall composition. The lush lowlands near my Cincinnati home offer me plenty of references for my paintings.” Eberhard has won numerous awards both regionally and nationally. His paintings can be found in public and private collections from coast to coast including Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. Playing with the edge between photo-realism and abstraction, Mark presents a fresh approach to all of his wildlife subjects. |
